Protection from Birds and Fruit fly.

In a humid climate, this has the added advantage of keeping the fruit dry and safe from fungal attacks.
There is no doubt as to the benefits of using a seaweed solution in the cultivation of giant Beefsteak tomato.
It appears to work like a multivitamin and when sprayed on weekly, significantly accelerates growth and good health resulting in a more disease-resistant plant.
Slow-growing plants tend to be more vulnerable to attack from pests. Seaweed solution is also not too nitrogen-dominant so is an ideal tonic for tomatoes.
